Despite challenges, StageOne moves forward, serves community

Before Producing Artistic Director Andrew D. Harris took over this role at StageOne Family Theatre in 2020, he was the longtime Education Director and Associate Artistic Director. Before that, Harris was a self-admitted “self-righteous, hormone-infused” teenager that argued with his mother over math. Harris believed since he was going into a theater career, he wouldn’t need math.

StageOne Family Theatre Announces Longtime Artist Educator Andrew D. Harris as Producing Artistic Director

The Board of Directors of StageOne Family Theatre announces Andrew D. Harris as the Producing Artistic Director. Andrew has been serving as Interim Producing Artistic Director since January of this year. “The board feels Andrew has proven his ability to lead and we are looking forward to supporting him through our ever changing local and global landscape.

Andrew has seen the ups and downs of StageOne over the years and we believe his experience, determination, and creativity will ensure success,” said StageOne Family Theatre Board President Jon Riehm, announcing the decision.

StageOne Family Theatre presents The True Story of the Three Little Pigs – Friday, March 22nd – Saturday, April 13th – Brown Theatre

There are two sides to every story, and when the Big, Bad Wolf takes the stand in Piggsylvania’s Trial of the Century, he finally gets his say. But whether he’ll get a fair trial in piggy court is anyone’s guess! Will the pigs make a puppet out of justice, or is the wolf’s catchy song-and-dance about a sneeze gone wrong all razzle-dazzle? This musical adaptation of the popular children’s book is sure to delight!
