It is almost time for two of the most rocking weekend of the year in Louisville when Danny Wimmer Presents brings Louder Than Life (Sept. 17-20) and Bourbon & Beyond (Sept. 24-27) back to the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center for two consecutive weekends of unforgettable performances, food, drinks and festival fun.
The music begins with Louder Than Life, returning September 17–20 with its largest lineup yet. More than 200 bands will perform across seven stages during four hard-hitting days of rock, metal, punk and alternative music. This year’s headliners include Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit and TOOL, joined by an impressive lineup featuring Pantera, Gojira, Pierce the Veil, Papa Roach, A Day to Remember, Sublime, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Danzig, Rise Against, Halestorm, Danny Elfman and many more.
Louder Than Life has grown into much more than a traditional rock festival. It is a full-scale experience filled with massive stage productions, passionate fans, unexpected collaborations and performances spanning generations of heavy music. Special appearances include Pantera’s only U.S. show of 2026, one of Megadeth’s final farewell performances and Danny Elfman’s first performance in the eastern half of the country in nearly a decade.
Just a few days later, Bourbon & Beyond takes over the festival grounds September 24–27 with another four days of music, Kentucky bourbon, culinary experiences and uniquely Louisville hospitality. The expansive lineup brings together rock, Americana, country, folk and alternative favorites, led by Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Chris Stapleton and Dave Matthews Band.
Queens of the Stone Age, Goose, Kacey Musgraves, Foster the People, The Red Clay Strays, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Hootie & the Blowfish and Counting Crows are also among the major artists scheduled to perform. With more than 100 acts across five stages, Bourbon & Beyond offers an outstanding blend of legendary performers, current stars and emerging artists. Fans can also explore premium bourbon tastings, chef demonstrations and food experiences that celebrate Kentucky’s rich culinary and spirits traditions.
Together, Louder Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond create eight incredible days of live entertainment and give music fans two distinctly different festival experiences without leaving Louisville.
