The NuLu Bock Fest is set to return for its eighth year on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Louisville’s vibrant NuLu neighborhood. This annual spring festival celebrates the rich traditions of bock beer and goat racing, offering a unique blend of cultural festivities that attract both locals and visitors.

Goat Races: A central attraction, the festival will feature a series of goat races, including both adult and baby goats. The event kicks off with the Blessing of the Goats and Bock Beer at noon, followed by multiple races throughout the day. A notable highlight is the Fifth Third Bank Forecast Dash Baby Goat Race at 3:30 PM, where local meteorologists select baby goats to race on their behalf, competing for a $500 donation to their chosen charity.

Bock Beer: Local breweries will showcase their 2025 bock beer selections, allowing attendees to savor a variety of locally crafted brews. In addition to bock beers, craft cocktails and mixed drinks will be available for purchase.

Wurst Fest: The festival also hosts the annual Kentucky Proud Wurst Fest, where local restaurants present their unique takes on traditional sausage dishes. Attendees can sample these creations and vote for their favorites, with the coveted Best of the Wurst Fest title awarded to the top contender.

NuLu 502 Fun Run/Walk: New to this year’s festival is the NuLu 502, a 502-foot fun run/walk/strut commencing at 11:30 AM on Clay Street between Nanny Goat Strut and Billy Goat Strut. Participants can enjoy a celebratory atmosphere, complete with a “popping of the champagne” to start the race. Registration is $20 and includes a NuLu 502 goat medal, a commemorative cup, and the first Bock Fest beer on the house.
