Modest Mouse is an indie rock band formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, by lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock, bassist Eric Judy, and drummer Jeremiah Green. Known for their raw, introspective lyrics and distinctive, off-kilter sound, they gained mainstream success with Good News for People Who Love Bad News (2004), featuring the hit Float On. Their music blends indie, punk, and experimental rock.
