91.9 WFPK Independent Louisville and Waterfront Park are delighted to announce the 24th season of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday. The concert series returns on Wednesday, April 22, with Deep Blue Something (8:00 p.m.) and Small Time Napoleon (6:30 p.m.). Proceeds from WFPK Waterfront Wednesday benefit two beloved local nonprofits, Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park.

“WFPK Waterfront Wednesday has always been about coming together through music, and this lineup really feels like that.” said Stacy Owen, WFPK promotions director, “We’ve got artists you already love, a few you’re about to, and a night on the river that just feels good to be part of.”

This season, WFPK Waterfront Wednesday is giving fans more of what they come for — headliners will take the stage earlier and perform a full 90-minute set, following a spotlight on Louisville’s favorite local and regional artists. Additionally, in April, May and June, The Monarch Living Room Stage will feature a slew of local artists from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and throughout the evening as an additional fan experience between set breaks.

Also new this year, LPM News and the Louisville Urban League have partnered to offer a voter registration and engagement opportunity at the April 22 show. The free concerts take place on the Big Four Lawn in Louisville’s Waterfront Park, located next to the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. The lawn opens at 5:00 p.m., with music on the main stage beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. Food trucks and vendor booths will be available throughout the season beginning at 5:00 p.m.

These events are made free thanks to the support of generous sponsors, on-site concession sales and donations. You can make a donation to support WFPK Waterfront Wednesday at lpm.org/wfw.

“WFPK Waterfront Wednesday has been bringing Louisville together on the river for nearly a quarter century,” said Deborah Bilitski, Waterfront Park’s president and executive director. “Live music on the riverfront is one of the things that makes Waterfront Park special, and we’re grateful to our partners and sponsors for helping us keep this event free and accessible to everyone.”

Fans of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday can also enter to win the Super Fan prize package – a reserved parking space at each 2026 concert, event swag and two VIP tickets to the 2026 Bourbon & Beyond September 24 – September 27 on the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
