Kentucky Opera goes BOLD with its signature fundraising event ‘Opera Gala’ on Saturday February 2 at 6 PM. Guests are encouraged to be daring in their dress for one of Louisville’s best Black Tie affairs as Kentucky Opera creates an atmosphere to shake up the senses — including bold cocktails, dramatic lighting, performances by Kentucky Opera singers, Cirque Louis, and Wax Factory. The event will be hosted by Kentucky Opera’s General Director, Barbara Lynne Jamison. Cocktail hour will feature acrobatics from Cirque Louis, Brown-Forman BOLD Martinis and Manhattans, silent auction, and a specialty wine bar provided by Jackson Family Wines, and an amazing silent auction.
Plus artist Petersen Thomas will be creating a live painting throughout the evening – a piece of which attendees will have an opportunity to take home! Guests will enjoy a 3 course dinner from world-class chef Graham Webber, performances by John Irvin and Mané Galoyon from Kentucky Opera’s production of Rigoletto, performances by Cirque Louis, and a live auction. Kentucky Opera’s 3 youth spirits from The Magic Flute will perform to promote Kentucky Opera’s Youth Programming.
BOLD Choice Raffle: Davis Jewelers has partnered with Kentucky Opera to offer one of three stunning collections to the winner. Chances are only $100 each, and only 100 tickets will be sold.
The Opera Gala after party includes live music from Wax Factory, dancing, and chocolate and coffee bar courtesy of Cellar Door Chocolates and Heine Brothers Coffee
